The girl on the Train (Novel): Saugat Review

Its a big exhilaration at least at the end. Oh god, I can't stand it any longer. First you hooked on with it, with such an amazing monologue of all the incredible female characters, with those small twists and turns makes you really want to go further, further more to never ending circle and then at last  with the biggest thriller, the story molds at an unexpected corner, that's the part I like the most.

Its amazing how she managed to tell the simple story in such exciting way. I became fan of her. I mean she seem expert explaining the same time period, through the same character with such a blend and charisma. It seemed like I am looking through Rachel all of her journey, Its like I am the alcoholic, and no matter what she does, it seems okay to me because I am not judging her through my brain, I am the character herself, its like I am understanding all her pain, her past life and addiction to alcohol. That's why I like the incredible monologue. Paula's reporting career might have just made the novel far better I think.
The character interpretation is too good. The thing I liked more was the way secrets of each character unveiled. I loved it how she beautifully kept the main secret for the last part so that readers do not have the slightest hint of where the hell, the story been going. I say if you plan to read this book : don't expect or anticipate anything around the characters/turnings cause all of your short and sweet imaginations can be destroyed by this incredibly witty author. She first grabs you to read couple of pages, she would immerse your focus to each words, turns you enthusiastic and makes you think and anticipate events in your head until she shatters everything with her writing. Trust me ,she is magnetic as well as magnificent at it. I would say, just embrace yourself for the end.
