On the race of millions the one became dominant which was best in its stability and longevity to survive, with high fecundity rate which should be able to make frequent and quick copies of itself and with the best degree of accuracy. They were struggling in the sense that any mis-copying resulted in the new higher level of stability or new way of reducing stability of rival molecules or becoming weaker, eventually making one dominant over another.Some might have learned to attack another molecule while another might have learned to protect itself chemically or building physical walls of proteins.
These replicators had built survival machines for themselves to carry in protected state,, That process of natural selection or of survival of the stable continues up to now and it is sort of cumulative and progressive, more with survival machines and protective coats.
4000 Millions of Years on, where are they now? Now they swarm in huge colonies safe inside gigantic lumbering robots sealed off from outside world, communicating in torturous routes, manipulating it by remote control. They are in me and you, they created us- our body and mind. They have come a long way and now they go on by the name of genes, and we are their survival machines.
